This is one of the most famous trekking areas in Nepal. To reach to Annapurna Region either you can fly or drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Pokhara is the gate way to Annapurna region. City of Pokhara offers many natural and attractive places to visit. Fewlake with the shadow of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) mountain, Begnas tal (lake). Mahendra Cave, Sharangkot for sunrise and sunset view and others place are the attraction of Pokhara. There are rarely a few places in the world with such a splendid variety of natural beauty as that of Annapurna region. It is a rare combination of long arrays of snow capped mountains, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Buddhist monasteries, home of famous Gorkha soldiers and other friendly ethnic groups, as well as hot springs and beautiful villages.

Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus.
Day 02: Pokhara - Naya Pul (bus) - Tirkhedunga (trek). 4-hour trek to Tirkhedunga (1545 m). The trail winds its way through bamboo forests and passes by a spectacular waterfall.
Day 03: Tirkhedunga - Ghorepani (2775 m) in 5h.
The Annapurna South (7273m) and the Hiunchuli gradually unfold on this pleasant walk uphill through fields and pastures and later through rhododendrons and oak woods. Ghorepani was originally a horse watering post, which has evolved into an important crossroads for tourists and the numerous mule caravans on the Jomoson-Pokhara trip.
Day 04: Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3193 m) - Tadapani (2540 m) in 6h.
We leave early morning for Poon Hill, to catch the early morning sunlight on the panorama of peaks: Dhaulaghiri, Annapurnas, Machhapuchare… This is an option but really worth the while. We then retrace our steps to Ghorepani and continue towards Tadapani through rhododendron woods.
Day 05: Tadapani - Ghandrung (1940m) - Landrung (1645 m) in 6h.
The trail gently descends through a subtropical forest highlighted by huge bamboo massifs and giant rhododendrons. Gandrung is the main village of the Gurung tribe,warriors known for their contribution to the famous Gurkha regiments. We continue our descent to the Modi Khola river then climb up to Landrung.
Day 06: Landrung - Dhampus (1750m) in 5h.
Pleasant walk through terraced paddy fields. Superb vistas of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu.
Day 07: Dhampus - Suikhet (2h trek) - Pokhara (bus)
An afternoon of leisure to spend at the Pokhara lakeside. You can enjoy a swim, a boat ride, some shopping and the restaurant terraces on the shoreline
Day 08: Pokhara - Katmandu by bus.
